FYK Business Park is starting to implementing its regional business policy programme, made possible by the FORCE project. Ramboll Finland Oy was selected through a competitive tender process to implement the programme and facilitate the related events. The Häme Regional Government granted FYK Business Park project funding to carry out this work, with the aim of responding to the structural changes in the business sector that the region has been facing in a short period of time. The funding was granted from the national appropriation allocated to supporting the sustainable growth and vitality of regions (AKKE).

To succeed in a complex operating environment, regions need the capacity to innovate and learn. The need for change is not only in current operations, but also in operating models and ways of thinking. All this applies to the region's businesses, stakeholders, municipal officials and elected representatives. According to Hannu-Heikki Saarinen of FYK Business Park, the region is only as attractive as the credibility of its service promise.
